Members of the 'Ahir Regiment' and 'Yadav Mahasabha' clashed with the police, resulting in stone-pelting at law enforcement. The police had to resort to aerial firing for their defense. Tensions have since gripped the region, though authorities have begun cracking down on the offenders.

According to reports, authorities have apprehended 19 rioters and seized 13 vehicles. Multiple police units have been stationed throughout Dandarpur village. Moreover, intense search operations are underway to capture those who were caught on camera during the disturbance. It is believed that people from other districts joined the crowd of thousands gathered on June 26 in the Bakewar area.

The confrontation escalated with claims that Sant Yadav's braid was forcefully cut, prompting charges against members of the Brahmin community. In response, four youths were arrested. A case for fraudulent documents and deception was also filed against the narrators by a local, Jay Prakash Tiwari. The incident has exacerbated tensions between Yadav and Brahmin groups, evident as Yadav affiliates attempted to enter the village on Thursday, leading to clashes with the police.
