AutoNxt X45 Electric Tractor Price and Features:
The Indian automotive sector is rapidly electrifying. The journey of electrification that started on the roads has now reached the fields. AutoNxt has launched the nation's first electric tractor, the AutoNxt X45. Maharashtra's Chief Minister Eknath Shinde graced the launch event. In an interview with Aajtak, the company's CEO, Kaustubh Dhonde, revealed, "The starting price of this electric tractor is INR 15.00 lakh. However, this does not include the subsidy on electric vehicles, which varies from state to state, potentially reducing the price further."
What Makes the Nation's First Electric Tractor Unique:
In terms of looks and design, the AutoNxt X45 resembles a traditional tractor. According to Kaustubh Dhonde, it is designed for heavy-duty work, capable of handling all agricultural tasks in India. This electric tractor will play a crucial role in reducing farming costs. The company has equipped it with a 32 KW electric motor generating a maximum power of 45 HP. It features a 35 KWHr battery pack, allowing it to work on a field of approximately 8 acres for up to 8 hours on a single charge.

Kaustubh mentions that the range might reduce slightly during heavy-duty tasks, but the tractor can work for at least 6 hours on a single charge. The company offers two different charging options. It can be conveniently charged using a domestic socket (15A). With a regular (single-phase) charger, it takes approximately 6 hours to fully charge the battery, while a three-phase charger can fully charge it in just 3 hours. It has a loading capacity of 10-15 tons.
Low Maintenance, Significant Savings:
According to the company, this tractor is suitable not only for agricultural tasks but also for metal manufacturing, cement manufacturing, construction industry, airport, defense, and biomass-related tasks. The most notable aspect is that it's fully electric, leading to significant diesel cost savings. The company claims that its maintenance is also very economical. Compared to any diesel tractor, its running cost is much lower. For better performance, this tractor offers high torque and intense acceleration.
Quiet Operation:
Being an electric tractor, it operates very quietly. This means it can be used in residential areas without any noise disturbance. Usually, when diesel tractors are used, their engines produce a lot of noise. But with this tractor, you can work silently.
Battery Longevity:
This is a major question that comes to every electric vehicle buyer's mind. According to the official website, the battery life cycle of this electric tractor is 3000, meaning the battery can last for about 8 to 10 years. However, this also depends on the load, usage, and temperature range.

Currently, we have launched the X45, and two more models (25HP and 60HP) will be introduced, which are currently under development.
