The Election Commission has responded to former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's allegations about voter names being removed. Kejriwal, persistently holding press conferences, claims a 'conspiracy' by the BJP. The Commission clarified the final voter list will be released by January 6, noting that updates to the list are ongoing.
Kejriwal alleged that a massive campaign began on December 15, asserting 5,000 applications for removal and 7,500 for addition in New Delhi were filed, potentially changing 12% of the voting population.

Kejriwal noted his constituency had 106,873 voters, a figure released on October 29 following adjustments between August 20 to October 20.
The Election Commission clarified the draft voter list referenced by Kejriwal was issued on October 29. Additionally, applications received from October 29 to November 28 were processed by December 24, with further applications considered until January 1 before finalizing the list by January 6.

Kejriwal charged that 'Operation Lotus' has reached his constituency, aiming to manipulate the voter list to change election outcomes. He stated such activities undermine democracy and appealed to the Election Commission to maintain strict vigilance against such discrepancies.
