A deeply saddening incident has surfaced in Barabanki, UP. An 11-year-old boy tragically lost his life when shards of a steel glass lodged into his abdomen. On the festive night of Diwali, twin brothers were setting off fireworks together. During this, one brother placed a glass over a bomb. Upon explosion, the glass shattered, causing severe injuries to the boy, who succumbed to his wounds during treatment.
This incident unfolded in Pyarepur Saraiya village, under Masoli police jurisdiction. The festive joy in Raju Gautam’s household turned into mourning. While setting off fireworks, a catastrophic event led to the tragic demise of one twin brother, dampening Diwali celebrations. The young twins, Karan and Arjun, were near their home indulging in the festive fun.
11-year-old Karan, while igniting a firecracker bomb, placed a steel glass over it. Once detonated, the glass fragments scattered at high speed, embedding into Arjun's stomach. Arjun cried out in pain, prompting their father to rush to the scene. Discovering Arjun's critical condition, he quickly transported both boys to the district hospital.
Given Arjun's worsening state, doctors referred him to Lucknow Trauma Center, where sadly, he died during treatment. Following the incident, police arrived to survey the site and have since taken Arjun’s body for post-mortem examination. Eleven years prior, twins were born to Raju Gautam, inspired by the film 'Karan Arjun', which is how he named his sons.
