With the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament 2025 just around the corner, anticipation is building. This edition will be hosted in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The inauguration match is set between Afghanistan and Hong Kong on September 9. India will face UAE in their opening match in Dubai on September 10. Later, India's much-anticipated clash with arch-rival Pakistan will take place on September 14 in Dubai. Leading the Indian team in this tournament will be Suryakumar Yadav, with Shubman Gill as his deputy.
As the Asia Cup 2025 approaches, former Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has selected his all-time T20 International (T20I) playing-11 for India. On Cricbuzz, Karthik revealed his lineup, featuring Abhishek Sharma and Rohit Sharma as the openers.

Karthik named Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the captain and wicketkeeper of the team. The chosen playing-11 also featured spinners Axar Patel and Varun Chakravarthy.
Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar secured spots in Karthik's playing-11. Interestingly, Dinesh Karthik excluded the current T20 team vice-captain Shubman Gill from his all-time lineup, along with notable players like Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, and Irfan Pathan.
