In the North-East Delhi locality of Seelampur, a young man was tragically shot on Thursday night. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Misbah from Jafrabad, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Reports suggest Misbah had a list of previous offenses including murder, attempted murder, robbery, and arms act violations. The incident occurred around 10:40 PM near the Jama Masjid of Seelampur when gunfire rang through the night. Responding swiftly, police found a young man on the ground, covered in blood. He was rushed to the Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
