In a major operation, Delhi Police detained a total of 10 Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in India even after the expiration of their visas. The South-West District Operations Cell coordinated with the Central District Anti-Narcotics Cell to execute these arrests smoothly.

Specifically, the South-West District Operations Cell captured 4 such illegal individuals who had continued living in India past their visa tenure. These individuals were reportedly moving between different hotels while engaging in various jobs. The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in Delhi has now initiated the deportation process. Their detention follows charges related to violations of foreigner laws and visa infractions.

Meanwhile, a collaborative raid conducted by the Central District Anti-Narcotics Cell, along with Kamla Market police, resulted in the capture of 6 more Bangladeshi infiltrators. These arrests were preceded by verified intelligence inputs. Documents recovered from the detainees affirm their Bangladeshi identity. Authorities mention these individuals were sustaining themselves through minor jobs in Delhi.

The police have begun the process of sending these six intruders back to Bangladesh through the FRRO. Additionally, security agencies are now probing whether a larger network facilitated their illegal entry and stay in India.
