Despite continuous warnings from DMRC, the Delhi Metro continues to witness dancing, fighting, and chaos. Recently, videos surfaced showing obscene behavior on the metro for Instagram reels, often leading to disputes over seating. Yet another incident erupting just before Holi adds to this. It shows two women in the metro for a reel, indulging in obscene behavior.
Obscenity in the Name of Reels
Floor of the metro train becomes a stage for two women dressed in white suits and saris, coloring each other intimately. A song echoes in the background – 'Color me, embrace me...', as they not only smear colors on each other but also tumble into each other's laps, while several commuters watch from their seats.
'Vulgarity rampant in the metro'
The video, shared by @AppuRj18 on Twitter, has since provoked a flood of comments. One user writes: 'What has gotten into people? They do anything for a reel.' Another calls for stricter surveillance on Delhi Metro. A user comments, 'Why can't these reel-makers spare the metro? They've turned it into a haven of vulgarity.'
'Forget shoes, hit with a belt'
Apart from dancing and singing, brawls are also not uncommon in the Delhi Metro. A viral video showed two women quarreling over a seat, leading to one yelling and cursing loudly, eventually escalating to threats of violence, with one suggesting shooting the other, highlighting an aggressive change in cultural norms.
