Delhi: Man kills wife over 20 rupees for a cigarette, then commits suicide by jumping in front of a train

A shocking incident has surfaced in Delhi. A man murdered his wife because she refused to give him 20 rupees for a cigarette.

In Delhi's Vivek Vihar area, a husband strangled his wife to death after she refused to give him money for a cigarette. Subsequently, the accused threw himself in front of a train to commit suicide. According to information, Kulwant lived with his wife and three children in the Kasturba Nagar area of the Vivek Vihar police station and worked as an auto driver.

On December 25, Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock, Kulwant asked his wife for 20 rupees for a cigarette, but she refused, leading to an argument. Shortly afterward, the wife gave him the money, and Kulwant sent his son to buy the cigarette. He then strangled his wife to death.

Before the police could reach him, he jumped in front of a train

A neighbor informed the police about the murder of the woman at three o'clock on Wednesday. By the time the police arrived, Kulwant had fled to the railway tracks. Before the police could catch him, he committed suicide by jumping in front of a train.

The police have registered a case and are investigating. They reported that a man murdered his wife for not giving him 20 rupees for a cigarette and then committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. Further action in the case is underway.
