The Bharatiya Janata Party has officially launched its first list for the Delhi Assembly elections, featuring 29 candidates announced with much anticipation. Former Member of Parliament Pravesh Verma is set to challenge Kejriwal. BJP's stalwart Ramesh Bidhuri will compete against Delhi's Chief Minister, Atishi, in Kalkaji. Kailash Gahlot, who transitioned from the Aam Aadmi Party to the BJP, has been given the ticket for the Bijwasan seat.

Pravesh Verma’s ticket secures a highly anticipated contest on the high-profile New Delhi Assembly seat. Contesting for Congress is Sandeep Dikshit, son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. This sets the stage for a triangular clash involving Kejriwal, Pravesh Verma, and Sandeep Dikshit. Meanwhile, the Kalkaji seat is set for a showdown between Atishi, Ramesh Bidhuri, and Alka Lamba.
