Puneet's family, the Khuranas, claimed that Manika had added five extra demands beyond the court's divorce terms, including a monthly lawyer fee of 70,000 rupees. Manika even allegedly threatened to file false cases.
A day before Puneet's death, December 30, Manika posted about being in a toxic relationship but now free from it. However, the Khurana family claimed it was a distraction tactic.
