The subject-wise date sheet for CUET UG 2024 exams has now been released. Candidates aspiring for undergraduate admissions in 2024 can visit the NTA's official website at nta.ac.in to check the complete exam schedule for CUET UG 2024. The National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET UG exams from May 15 to 24, 2024, in a hybrid mode, combining computer-based tests with pen-and-paper options.

Extra 15 minutes granted for these subjects

Spanning 63 test papers, CUET UG 2024 primarily has an examination duration of 45 minutes. However, certain subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and the General Test will be allocated an additional 15 minutes extending the duration to 60 minutes.

Around 13.48 lakh candidates to appear for CUET UG exam

The National Testing Agency will conduct exams for approximately 13.48 lakh candidates at 380 examination centers across India, including 26 international cities. The issued notice by NTA states, "To ensure candidates from all backgrounds have an equal opportunity to perform their best, the decision to facilitate the test paper in a chosen mode of pen and paper for some candidates has been implemented. Candidates are advised to carefully note the timing of each chosen test paper. The remaining papers will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode."

Changes in paper pattern for students

While previous CUET tests required writing 10 papers, this year’s regulations have changed. Candidates now need to write only six papers to clear CUET exams. This includes a selection of four domain papers, one language paper, and one general test paper; alternatively, students can choose three domain papers, two language papers, and one general test paper.
