Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has caused a stir with his controversial comments about BJP leader and MP from Mathura, Hema Malini. A video of Surjewala's comments has gone viral on social media, where he is seen making contentious statements about the MP. Following the release of this video, BJP leaders launched a scathing attack on Congress.

In a public meeting held on April 1st in support of INDIA alliance candidate Sushil Gupta at a village in the Kaithal area of the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency, Surjewala addressed the issues faced by the common people and pointed criticism towards Hema Malini. He questioned the purpose of electing MPs and MLAs, challenging their role in representing and championing the people's voice.

Kangana Ranaut Strikes Back

Actress and BJP candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut, has lashed out at Randeep Surjewala in response to his video. Sharing the video, she criticized, 'The conversation was about opening a store of love, but Congress has settled for spreading hate. Their disdainful attitude towards women is evident as their leaders, in a state of inevitable defeat, continually demean their own character.'

'This is Rahul Gandhi's Congress': Amit Malviya

Taking aim at Randeep Surjewala, BJP IT Cell Chief Amit Malviya shared the video on social media, condemning the comments as disgraceful and offensive not only to Hema Malini but to women in general.

He further said that recently, another Congress leader had also directed a derogatory remark at a female BJP leader. 'This is Rahul Gandhi's Congress, which is misogynistic and harbors hatred towards women,' he added.
