The monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly is underway. Following the revelation of Samajwadi Party leader Moin Khan's involvement in the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a stern stance. Speaking in the assembly, he launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party.

CM Yogi emphasized that this reprehensible incident cannot be taken lightly. The person involved in the rape resides with the MP of Faizabad and is a member of their team. Yet, the Samajwadi Party has taken no action against him. Addressing the house, CM Yogi said, 'I am not here for a job. If I wanted respect, I could have easily gotten it at my temple.'

'If I wanted respect, I could have gotten it at my temple'

Yogi Adityanath continued, 'You are afraid of the bulldozer, but it is not meant for the innocent. It is for criminals who jeopardize the future of the youth, threaten the safety of traders and daughters, and create chaos in the state, making life hell for ordinary people. My responsibility is... I am not here for a job, not at all. I am here to ensure that if anyone commits such acts, they face consequences. This struggle is not an ordinary one, nor is it about personal prestige. If I needed prestige, I could have easily found it at my temple. There is no need for me.'

CM targets Samajwadi Party

In the assembly, Yogi said, 'A 12-year-old girl was raped in Ayodhya. Samajwadi Party leader Moin Khan was involved in this despicable act. He stays, eats, and moves with the MP of Ayodhya. Goal to make UP a one trillion dollar economy

Discussing the supplementary budget in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, CM Yogi outlined the efforts being made to achieve the one-trillion-dollar economy goal. CM stated that this supplementary budget is part of a series of steps to establish Uttar Pradesh as a one-trillion-dollar economy. The target has been set to complete the main carriageway construction of the Ganga Expressway before the Maha Kumbh. The Jewar International Airport, linking Western UP to Eastern UP, will also become active soon.

He mentioned that in alignment with the Prime Minister's vision to make India a five-trillion-dollar economy, Uttar Pradesh, being the most populous state, has a responsibility to boost its economy and match the country's speed of development. The state has also decided to establish itself as a one-trillion-dollar economy in sync with the nation's pace. This budget is a piece of that plan. A roadmap has been prepared for achieving the one-trillion-dollar economy goal in Uttar Pradesh. All departments within the state have been divided into 10 sectors, each monitored by a senior minister. The monitoring is also being carried out by the additional chief secretary and principal secretary levels of officers. Experts, economists, and stakeholders from related fields are being involved for support.
