In the Bihar Assembly, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar once again lost his cool. When the CM stood up to deliver his speech, the opposition was causing a commotion. During this time, Nitish lashed out at RJD's female legislator Rekha Devi. The CM told the RJD legislator, 'Woman, you don't know anything.'
Nitish Kumar targeted the RJD, saying, 'Have these people ever promoted a woman? They only started doing it after 2005. That is why I am saying, listen quietly. I will continue speaking, and if you do not listen, it is your mistake.'
When Nitish Kumar stood up to speak about reservation, the opposition was protesting. Throughout his speech, Nitish repeatedly appealed to the opposition legislators to listen to his entire speech.
Talking about the caste census, Nitish said that it was his wish, and that was why he had called all parties together. After that, meetings were held, and surveys and caste censuses were conducted. Information was gathered accordingly. During this time, the CM was explaining to the opposition members that if they listened to the entire matter, they would understand it better.
Nitish said, 'When the caste census was completed unanimously and it was found that the number of backward classes was higher, the 50% reservation limit was increased to 75%. The central government implemented a 10% reservation for the upper caste, and we also implemented that. We gathered information about the economic condition of every family.'
