After a prolonged wait, the Bihar Board has finally declared the Class 10 exam results for 2024. An impressive 82.91% of students have passed this year. Out of the successful candidates, 51 students have made it to the top 10 list. Girls have outshone boys this year, marking a higher pass percentage in the results. Approximately 16 lakh students appeared for the exam, with over 13 lakh triumphing victoriously.
The top 20 ranking students will be provided free coaching for JEE and NEET preparations, with the incentives extending to those within the top 10 ranks to apply for both residential and non-residential courses. Furthermore, the top 10 achievers from Bihar will each be awarded a cash prize of one lakh rupees along with a laptop.
Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Chairman Anand Kishor shared key details such as the number of students passed, overall pass percentage, and gender-specific pass percentages during a press conference in Patna. Students can check their results on the official websites results.biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.com. They can also view their provisional mark sheets on aajtak.in.

The exams for Class 12 were held from February 1 to February 12, with results announced on March 23, before Holi. The Class 10 board exams took place from February 15 to February 23. The much-awaited results for these exams have now been released this afternoon.

Step 3: Click on 'BSEB Matric Result 2024 Link' which will be activated shortly. Step 4: Enter your roll code and number, then click submit. Step 5: Your result will be displayed on the screen. Check and verify your marks. Step 6: Download your provisional mark sheet and take a printout for future reference.

Minimum Passing Marks for Bihar Board 10th Result
To pass the Class 10 exams, students must score a minimum of 33%. Each subject's examination (both theory and practical) carries a total of 100 marks. To pass, a student needs to score at least 150 marks. Those who score less than 33% in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to pass through compartment exams. The schedule for applying for Bihar Board's Class 10 compartment exams will be announced following the results' release.
