The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) condemned the murder of Indian citizen Chandra Nagamallaiah in Texas, stating the tragedy could have been entirely prevented had the Biden administration not released criminal illegal alien Yordanis Cobos-Martinez.
In a social media post, DHS remarked that the Cuban citizen, who decapitated Nagamallaiah in front of his wife and child in a Texas motel, should never have been allowed to remain in the U.S.
DHS stated, "This monster beheaded a person in front of his wife and child and threw the victim's head to the ground. This horrific and savage murder could have been completely avoided."

The department stated that Cuba had previously refused to accept Cobos-Martinez, leading to his release under the Biden administration. DHS's statement read, "President Trump and Secretary Noem are no longer allowing barbaric criminals to stay indefinitely in America. If you come to our country illegally, you may be sent to CEOT or elsewhere."
The Era of Leniency Towards Illegal Immigrants is Over: Trump
Previously, Donald Trump expressed awareness of 'terrifying reports' about the murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah, whom he described as a respected person in Dallas.
In a sharply worded social media statement, Trump stated, "Nagamallaiah was 'brutally beheaded' by an illegal alien from Cuba who should never have been in our country."
Trump mentioned, "This individual was released back into our country under the administration of incompetent Joe Biden because Cuba did not want such a rogue individual."
The President vowed that the detained Cobos-Martinez would be tried for first-degree murder. Trump further stated, "In my administration, the era of leniency towards illegal immigrant criminals is over."

This attack unfolded on Wednesday at the Downtown Suites motel in Dallas, where victim Chandra Nagamallaiah (50) and Cuban murder suspect Yordanis Cobos-Martinez (37) worked. Tensions arose over a broken washing machine.
According to the arrest affidavit released by Dallas police on Wednesday evening, Cobos-Martinez was cleaning a room with a female coworker when Nagamallaiah asked them not to use the broken machine.
Allegedly, Cobos-Martinez was infuriated because Nagamallaiah requested him to translate his words to the coworker rather than speaking directly. The affidavit stated, "The video shows the suspect then exited the motel room and retrieved a knife from his belongings, beginning to attack the complainant repeatedly."
Despite attempts by bystanders to halt the attack, Cobos-Martinez continued his assault until the victim's head was severed from his body. A video displayed the suspect carrying the decapitated head towards a dumpster, where he was apprehended shortly after.
