Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Champai Soren, arrived in Seraikela Kharsawan on Saturday. Here, supporters welcomed him with grand celebrations and fireworks. Addressing a gathering, Soren announced that after 24 years, they are embarking on a new journey and hoped for people's support in this endeavor.
'Hope you will support me in this new chapter'
Champai Soren stated, 'In the upcoming days, we will work tirelessly for the people of Jharkhand, especially the tribals and the poor. We aim to give Jharkhand a distinct identity nationwide. We will provide everyone with the opportunity to live with dignity and respect. Therefore, I urge you to continue loving and supporting us as you have always done.'
He continued, 'After 24 years, we are starting a new chapter. We have shared our heartfelt grievances. We have always stood up for the poor. I trust that you will support me in this new chapter. In the coming days, we will work for the tribals, the poor, and the youth of Jharkhand.'
Champai Soren to form a new party
Before the assembly elections in Jharkhand, former Chief Minister and Champai Soren, who has now distanced himself from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), has raised rebellious tones. His recent tweet has stirred the political corridors. The former CM recently declared that he will not retire from politics and will launch a new party.
He has also kept the doors open for alliances. Champai stated that he had three options: retirement, organization, or a friend. He affirmed, 'I will not retire. I will strengthen the party and form a new one.'
