Allegations of misconduct and harassment are surfacing against Chaitanyanand Saraswati from past cases. In 2016, a student approached the Delhi police and registered a case, revealing how Baba Chaitanyanand exploited her.
The victim reported to the police that she was around 20-21 years old at that time. Chaitanyanand would call her at night, addressing her as ‘baby’ and ‘sweet girl’ with nasty remarks. In her report, the victim described how Baba confiscated her phone and left her alone in the hostel. If she talked to other students, Chaitanyanand scolded her and exerted pressure.
Furthermore, the victim mentioned that Chaitanyanand pressured her into a two-day trip to Mathura. Fearing for her safety, she fled without her bag and documents. Even after escaping, Chaitanyanand's followers trailed her back to her home. Eventually, her father rescued her.

According to the FIR and complaints, Chaitanyanand would call EWS (Economically Weaker Section) students from his institute into his room. He would make obscene calls in the late hours, manipulating staff to pressure the students into silence. Often, he offered international trips, with threats of failing or expelling students who resisted. Cameras were installed in the hostel under the guise of security.

Chaitanyanand’s façade first cracked open on July 23 when Peetham filed an FIR based on student complaints. FIR No. 320/2025 raised severe concerns over Baba’s conduct. During this time, Peetham revoked his power of attorney and established a new 11-member governing council to oversee the institution.

The situation escalated further on August 1 when the Air Force sent Peetham an email with a long list of complaints from students. It detailed how Baba summoned students, sent vulgar messages, and subjected them to psychological torment.
On August 2, Peetham responded to the Air Force, citing the previously registered FIR. Subsequently, on August 4–5, Peetham lodged a new complaint with the Delhi Police, providing 300 pages of evidence, including WhatsApp chats from Chaitanyanand.
Despite severe allegations and concrete evidence, Chaitanyanand remains elusive from police capture. Delhi Police have conducted raids from Delhi to UP, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan to nab him. Baba continually shifts his location; his latest whereabouts were traced to Mumbai.
