CCTV footage has emerged from the tragic murder of a young woman staying in a Paying Guest (PG) accommodation in Bengaluru. The footage reveals the accused attacking the woman repeatedly. The police have identified the person seen in the footage and have begun their investigation into the case.

The CCTV footage released by the police is disturbing. The video shows the accused approaching the woman's room carrying a bag and then knocking on the door. Although the door isn't visible in the footage, a few seconds later, the door opens, and the accused drags the woman outside. After this, the accused repeatedly stabs the woman with a knife and then flees the scene. Bloodied, the woman sits on the floor, crying out for help. The police have revealed that the accused, who murdered the young woman, is the boyfriend of her friend.

The Young Woman Hails from Bihar

The police have identified the young woman, originally from Bihar, as 24-year-old Kriti Kumari. She was working for a private company in Bengaluru.

The Murder Took Place on Tuesday

The police believe that the incident occurred between 11:10 and 11:30 PM on Tuesday night at the PG located in Koramangala VR Layout. The tragedy unfolded on the third floor of the PG, where Kriti was residing in a room.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Koramangala police and DCP of Southeast Division, Sara Fatima, visited the crime scene. The officials are currently using the CCTV footage to keep track of the suspect. The suspect is believed to be someone familiar with the young woman.
