In the city of Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, where a recent survey at the Shahi Jama Masjid led to violence, now sees the initiative for a new police outpost in the vacant land opposite the mosque. Authorities have earmarked the location, and groundwork for the outpost’s foundation is underway. The outpost will bear the name 'Satyavrat Police Outpost', honoring Sambhal's ancient name, 'Satyavrat Nagar', from the Satya Yuga.
