BPSC 70th Exam Re-test Scheduled for January After Cancellation at Bapu Center

The preliminary exam, canceled at Bapu Centre on December 13, will be reorganized on January 4, involving 12,000 candidates. Results will not use normalization.

The 70th Joint Competitive Preliminary Examination, previously canceled by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) at Patna's Bapu Centre, is now rescheduled for January 4, 2025. New admit cards will be issued to all candidates who attended the original exam. BPSC has announced the date for releasing re-exam entry tickets, which will be available on December 27, 2024. Candidates can download them using their registration number and date of birth.

How to Download Your Admit Card:
Step 1-

Visit (bpsc.bih.nic.in).

Step 2-

Click on the link for the available admit card on the homepage.

Step 3-

Enter your user ID and password.

Step 4-

Click submit.

Step 5-

Your admit card will appear on the screen. Check it and download.

Exam Pattern

The BPSC Preliminary Exam will be for a maximum of 150 marks. Each correct answer will award 1 point. The 70th BPSC Preliminary Exam will be objective, with negative marking where one-third (1/3) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Ongoing Protests by Candidates

Candidate protests in Bihar, demanding the exam be canceled and reorganized, continue. Protesters state that their agitation will persist until the commission announces the re-conduct of the entire exam. However, the BPSC chairperson has refused to cancel the December 13 exam and has issued show-cause notices to 34 candidates.
