Jharkhand is gearing up for Assembly elections later this year. Political parties have already begun strategizing. In the midst of this, the BJP is set to hold a meeting in Delhi today to discuss seat allocation for the Assembly elections. Several of BJP's allies are expected to attend this meeting, including leaders from AJSU and JDU.
Discussion on Seat Allocation
Sources indicate that today's meeting could involve talks about the number of seats each ally will be contesting. According to reports, AJSU is demanding 10-12 seats, while JDU is asking for 3-4 seats. The BJP may also contest the elections in Jharkhand alongside Jitan Ram Manjhi and Chirag Paswan, granting them some seats as well.
BJP to Portray Unity
The strategy for the Jharkhand Assembly elections aims to showcase the unity and strength of the NDA. The BJP's 'Parivartan Yatras' in the state will culminate on October 2, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicking off the BJP's election campaign with a massive rally in Hazaribagh.

BJP Conducted Six ‘Parivartan Yatras’ in the State
The BJP has conducted six 'Parivartan Yatras' across the state, consistently challenging Hemant Soren's government. On September 20, Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off one such yatra, and it is now approaching its conclusion. Recently, PM Modi held a rally in Jamshedpur, where he accused Hemant Soren of tarnishing Champai Soren's reputation. Notably, Champai Soren has left JMM and joined the BJP, a move that experts believe could harm Hemant Soren's political standing.
