Former Union Minister and BJP leader Uma Bharti commented, ''The act of the Shahdol MP educating her daughter in a government school is a commendable example. I applaud Himadri Singh for this ideal initiative, and I urge all newlywed couples in governance and administration to consider similar steps for their children's early education.''
Mention of IAS Officer's Initiative
Uma Bharti also mentioned an IAS officer from Uttarakhand, saying, ''A district collector, known for his commendable work, started educating his son in a government school. His wife, despite lacking a teaching role, began teaching in a government school. I haven’t received their permission, so I will not mention their names. Such initiatives will naturally improve government educational institutions.''
MP's Daughter to Study in Village School
It is noteworthy that the MP for Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol, Himadri Singh, has enrolled her daughter in her home village's government school. Himadri Singh's daughter, Girija Kumari, will receive education at the government primary girls' school in Rajendragram.
Himadri's Father was a Union Minister
MP Himadri Singh’s father, the late Dalbir Singh, served as Minister of State for Finance in the Rajiv Gandhi government. Dalbir Singh represented Shahdol in parliament for many years. Himadri’s family has its roots in the Congress party.
Her father, Dalbir Singh, served as a minister twice in the central government as a Congress MP. Himadri’s mother, Rajesh Nandini, was also a Congress MP.
Himadri was Born in Delhi
Himadri Singh herself was born in the national capital, Delhi, and completed her education in Delhi schools and UP colleges. Before becoming an MP, she was studying at Delhi University.
