Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi's bags have been the talk of the town. She has been seen bringing various bags to the parliament, each sending a different message—sometimes hinting at Adani, other times at Bangladesh. Amidst this, BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi decided to gift Priyanka Gandhi a bag.

From Odisha, BJP's female MP Aparajita handed Priyanka a bag with '1984' emblazoned on it, painted in red to remind of the tragic Sikh riots of that year.

In a conversation with Aaj Tak, Aparajita expressed that Priyanka has been known for her intriguing bags at the parliament. So, she thought of gifting her a bag with '1984' and blood stains, reminiscent of the 1984 riots.

Priyanka Gandhi humbly accepted the bag without any comment, and she walked away with it.

The Saga of Priyanka Gandhi's Bags...

During the winter session of parliament, the opposition was continuously protesting against Gautam Adani. On December 10, Priyanka Gandhi made headlines by entering the parliament with a bag that read 'Modi-Adani Bhai Bhai.'

Then, on December 16, Priyanka Gandhi expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine by bringing a bag to the parliament that had 'Palestine' written on it, alongside symbolic representations. This led to significant controversy.

The BJP accused Priyanka of showing a soft corner for Palestine while neglecting the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. Yet, Priyanka walked into the parliament with a 'Bangladesh' bag, which read support for Hindus and Christians there.

Jayant Chaudhary's Poetic Take on Priyanka's Bag

Jayant Chaudhary, a central minister and head of the Rashtriya Lok Dal party, also poked fun at Priyanka Gandhi's bags by sharing a poem on social media. The poem, titled 'What's in the Bag?', humorously questioned the abundance of bags with seemingly nothing inside except more bags.

The poem subtly hinted at the countless bags Priyanka seems to collect with no apparent purpose, drawing inspiration from the British poet Brian Bilston.
