On Sunday, BJP disclosed its premier list of 195 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. This roster reflects diverse representation across all segments of society, including youth and women. While retaining seasoned politicians, the party has also opened its doors to several fresh faces.
Including four Bhojpuri superstars in its list, BJP has named Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Dinesh Lal (Nirahua), and Pawan Singh among its candidates. Tiwari expressed gratitude towards the party's top brass for their renewed trust in him.
Manoj Tiwari currently serves the North-East Delhi constituency, Ravi Kishan represents Gorakhpur, and Dinesh Lal holds the fort in Azamgarh. BJP has reposed its faith in these three renowned names once more.

Pawan Singh, the new face among these Bhojpuri stars, has been assigned the ticket from Asansol in West Bengal. This very seat is currently held by film star and former BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha under TMC's banner.

BJP has placed its trust in four Bhojpuri artists in its initial list. Saturday evening saw the release of the party's first list for the Lok Sabha elections. The tally includes 195 candidates, featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 34 central and state ministers, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, and three former Chief Ministers.
The first list of 195 candidates from BJP features 28 women. A youthful ensemble, it includes 47 candidates under the age of 50. Among them, 57 belong to the OBC category, while the SC community is allotted 27 seats, and the ST community has 18 candidates.
Segmenting by states, Uttar Pradesh leads with 51 candidates announced, followed by 24 from Madhya Pradesh, 20 from West Bengal, 15 each from Gujarat and Rajasthan, 12 from Kerala, 9 from Telangana, and 11 candidates each from Assam, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh. Additionally, 5 from Delhi, 3 from Uttarakhand, 2 each from Jammu & Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh, and 1 candidate each from Goa, Tripura, Andaman Nicobar, and Daman & Diu have been declared.
