Haryana's BJP candidate from Charkhi Dadri, Sunil Sangwan, has made a significant statement regarding the parole granted in the Ram Rahim case. He claimed, "I recommended rejecting Ram Rahim's parole three times; granting parole is the job of the divisional commissioner." He further added that as for the six times parole was granted, it is up to the divisional commissioner to take cognizance and provide parole. After receiving the ticket from the BJP for the Assembly elections, former jail superintendent Sunil Sangwan visited Dadri for the first time. During this visit, he was welcomed by local party workers.
