A heartrending incident has emerged from Dhamipur, in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. A female Booth Level Officer (BLO) succumbed to a cardiac arrest. The 56-year-old Shobharani was serving both as a BLO and an Anganwadi worker. She fell ill late Saturday night and was rushed to the hospital, where she sadly passed away.
District Program Officer Vimal Chaubey mentioned that after she complained of severe chest pain, Shobharani was immediately taken to a Moradabad hospital, where she died during treatment. As her death did not require a postmortem, it is being considered a natural death.
According to her family, Shobharani had been battling diabetes for a long period and had not been feeling well lately. Despite this, she diligently worked late into Friday night to upload records and forms online for a Special Intensive Revision (SIR). When she reported chest pain, her family quickly took her to the hospital.

Assistant Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Dhamipur, Smriti Mishra, shared that the family informed them of Shobharani's diabetes condition. When she became ill, she was transferred to Moradabad, where she died during treatment. District Program Officer Vimal Chaubey stated that Shobharani, aged 56, was a BLO in the Dhamipur area and passed away in a Moradabad hospital. It was noted that she was not under work pressure and also served as an Anganwadi worker.
