Congress Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi is all set to launch the 'Vote Rights March' from Rohtas district in Bihar on August 17. The purpose of this march is to voice opposition against the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state. The opposition alleges that irregularities are being conducted in this process, compromising voters' rights. As the march nears, the political atmosphere in Bihar has already begun to heat up.

Ruling party representatives have labeled this march as a political ruse by the opposition. BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad has sarcastically remarked, "They keep walking their marches, insulting the commission, shaming the constitution. Their marches continue, yet they are defeated every time."

Bihar government minister Neeraj Bablu added, "The NDA government is working robustly, which the opposition can't seem to digest, thus resorting to various marches. Rahul Gandhi is coming, the whole nation calls him Pappu, and here, Dhappu is accompanying. Together, Pappu-Dhappu are merely spreading confusion. They are the protectors of fake voters."

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has released a video concerning the "vote theft" allegations, captioning it, "Stealing silently, secretly... no more, the public has awakened."

Pappu Yadav, MP from Purnia, Responds

Purnia MP Pappu Yadav commented on Minister Neeraj Bablu's statement, saying, "BJP members are talking nonsense. Even if a camel sits, it is taller than a donkey. When an elephant walks the bazaar, a thousand dogs bark. Our leader is coming not to engage in politics but to fight for the rights of Bihar and Biharis. The names of SC, ST, Dalits, and the poor have been cut from the voter list, and Rahul Gandhi is coming for them."

Rahul Gandhi's 'Vote Rights March'

Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal recently visited Sasaram (Rohtas) to meet INDIA Bloc leaders and review preparations for Rahul Gandhi's march. Later, he tweeted, "The fight to save democracy will be fought on streets. Starting August 17, Rahul Gandhi, alongside opposition parties, will commence the 'Vote Rights March' in Bihar. This march will evolve into a massive movement against vote theft."

During the march, Rahul Gandhi, along with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and senior leaders from the INDIA Bloc, will address joint rallies. It's anticipated that this march will mirror Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra.' The strategy is to strengthen the opposition coalition leading up to the Bihar Assembly elections.
