As is tradition, the Chura-Dahi feast is once more the talk in Bihar politics during Makar Sankranti. Various political parties and leaders are hosting this traditional feast at their offices and residences. The highlight remains the event at RJD chief Lalu Prasad's residence on 10, Circular Road. Additionally, there's the event at the office of Union Minister Chirag Paswan.

Reportedly, Lalu Yadav is holding a Chura-Dahi feast at his residence for a few chosen party leaders. Until a few years ago, his house was open to party leaders, workers, and common people for this festival, but the situation has changed. So, like last year, this year too the feast is limited to a selected few.

On the other hand, Union Minister Chirag Paswan is also hosting a Chura-Dahi feast at his party office, which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will attend. The event at Chirag's place will see the entire NDA coming together, as prominent leaders from both BJP and Janata Dal United, along with allied parties, will be present.

The Chura-Dahi feast at Chirag's place is seen as an attempt to display NDA's strength and unity.

On Tuesday, Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal is also organizing an event at the party office, inviting all NDA leaders. Meanwhile, Congress is organizing a Chura-Dahi feast for Mahagathbandhan leaders at their party office, Sadaqat Ashram.

Previously on Monday, the Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, held a Chura-Dahi feast for NDA leaders at his official residence, graced by the presence of Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.

In Bihar politics, the Chura-Dahi feast is not merely a traditional event, but a significant means to showcase the strength of alliances and navigate political equations.
