Bhole Baba, through his lawyer, conveyed his deepest sympathies to the families of the deceased and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Supreme Court's senior advocate Dr. AP Singh has been authorized to pursue legal action against those behind this catastrophe. Bhole Baba confirms that he had left the assembly in the village of Fulari, Sikandrarao, Hathras long before the incident occurred.

The UP police have registered an FIR against the organizers of the religious gathering. The FIR alleges that the organizers obscured the anticipated attendance, mismanaged traffic, and destroyed evidence post-incident.

The FIR details that the chaos ensued at 2 PM as Bhole Baba was leaving. As his vehicle passed, followers collected dust and soil, leading to an uncontrollable crowd that trampled seated or bent devotees, resulting in screams and cries of panic. The report alleges that the committee and volunteers tried to control the escaping crowd with sticks, causing the commotion to escalate, and many women and children were crushed.

An FIR has been lodged at the Sikandrarao police station against Baba's principal servant, Devprakash Madhukar, and other organizers. The charges include non-intentional homicide and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
