You won't believe what has surfaced in Bhagalpur district! A man impersonated a senior administrative officer (ADM) and scammed many people. Upon learning this, Bhagalpur police promptly arrested him. This incident took place in the Jogasar area. The name of the individual arrested is Raj Pandey.
The Faux ADM and His Wife Drove a Luxurious White Car
According to reports, Jogasar police arrested Raj Pandey and his wife Pushpa Pandey near their residence in Kharmanachak neighborhood. They were on their way out in a luxurious white car bearing a red Bihar Government ADM board.

Following the arrest, the police also seized the vehicle. Additionally, a case of fraud was registered against Raj Pandey and his wife. Jogasar police station head, Krishna Nandan Kumar Singh, confirmed the arrest. The couple carried out their scams in a white luxury car with the number plate BR 01 PG 9119.
Released on PR Bond Due to Health Reasons
At the station, Raj Pandey and his wife were questioned about their ADM status and asked to present valid documents, which they failed to provide. Raj was found with both legs in plaster, claiming he was seeking medical treatment for broken bones. Due to his health condition, they were released on a PR bond.
Charged ₹500,000 for Fake Arms Licenses
Inspector Krishna Nandan Kumar Singh revealed that cases against Raj Pandey are registered not just in Jogasar but also in Nathnagar and Siliguri, West Bengal. Raj Pandey distributed counterfeit arms licenses to hundreds across Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Munger, Banka, Naugachia, and more, charging 400,000 to 500,000 rupees per license.
