Bengaluru Police Trace Mobile Number, Reach Gurgaon: The Arrest Story of Atul Subhash's Wife Nikita

Following a complaint by Atul Subhash's brother, Vikas Kumar, a case was lodged at Marathahalli Police Station in Bengaluru against four people: wife Nikita, mother-in-law Nisha, brother-in-law Anurag, and uncle-in-law Sushil Singhania. Among them, Nikita, Nisha, and Anurag have been apprehended by the police.

In connection with the suicide case of engineer Atul Subhash, his wife Nikita Singhania, mother-in-law Nisha Singhania, and brother-in-law Anurag Singhania have been taken into custody. Multiple teams from Bengaluru police are investigating Atul Subhash's suicide. One of the teams was in Jaunpur, while another team was actively searching for Nikita and her family.

A complaint by Atul Subhash's brother, Vikas Kumar, led to a case being filed against four people at the Marathahalli police station in Bengaluru: wife Nikita Singhania, mother-in-law Nisha Singhania, brother-in-law Anurag Singhania, and uncle-in-law Sushil Singhania. The police have charged them under sections including section 108 of the Indian Penal Code (inciting suicide) and section 3(5).

As part of the investigation, a three-member team from Marathahalli police station, consisting of the sub-inspector and case investigating officer, was conducting formalities at Nikita Singhania's home in Jaunpur and collecting documents from an ongoing court case there. Meanwhile, another team was dedicated to tracing Nikita and her family members.

Nikita's Number Obtained from MNC by Police

To locate Nikita, the police initially acquired her number from the multinational company (MNC) where she was employed. Using this number, they traced her whereabouts and arrested her from Gurgaon. In addition, Bengaluru police apprehended Nikita's mother, Nisha Singhania, and her brother, Anurag Singhania, from a flat as they were arranging to file an anticipatory bail petition in Allahabad High Court. Currently, a court has remanded the three accused individuals to judicial custody.

Committed Suicide in Bengaluru on December 9

On December 9, Atul Subhash took his own life by hanging from the ceiling fan in his bedroom in Bengaluru. The t-shirt he wore at the time bore the message, 'Justice Is Due.' Prior to this tragic event, he had created a one-and-a-half-hour video and a 24-page letter, blaming his wife, in-laws, and the judiciary for his decision to end his life. Atul had married Nikita Singhania in 2019, and they had a child together. Two years after their marriage, Nikita filed nine cases against Atul, including dowry harassment, her father's murder, and unnatural sexual abuse. Atul claimed that three crore rupees were demanded from him to settle these matters.

Upon realizing this, the family of Nikita Singhania locked up their house and disappeared into the night on December 11. Media attempted to communicate with them during this period, but they refused to respond to any questions.
