A case of illegal religious conversion has emerged in Izzat Nagar, Bareilly. Upon receiving the information, police officers arrived at the scene and registered a case after an investigation. Three people, including the converting pastor, have been arrested.

It was reported that a prayer meeting was organized in a house where people affiliated with Christianity were converting small children. More than two dozen people were present at this gathering. Religious books were being distributed to the attendees.

In reality, this conversion process was going on in a rented house in Munshi Nagar Colony, Izzat Nagar. The pastor was converting small children. A prayer meeting took place on Sunday, attended by over two dozen people. Police officers seized the materials related to the conversion and arrested the pastor and two others.

The accused pastor confessed to his crime during police interrogation. Currently, the police are investigating the whole matter to determine all the locations where missionary committee members have conducted conversions and how many people have been converted.

An accused told the police during interrogation that religious books titled Sacred Scripture, Psalm Hymns, and Proverbs were handed to people for conversion, with letters inscribed in golden color. These books were handed to individuals from other religions, making them pray from these books.
