Today, around 1:30 PM local time (1:00 PM IST), a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 trainer aircraft tragically crashed in Dhaka's Diabari area of Uttara. Reports confirm the aircraft struck the school within Milestone College's North Campus, inciting panic in surrounding areas. Several videos circulating on social media vividly capture students in distress, scrambling for safety.

According to local media, the F-7 aircraft took off at 1:06 PM and crashed just 24 minutes later at 1:30 PM. A senior official at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport verified the incident, though specifics about the crash's causes or casualties are yet to be detailed. The F-7 is identified as a Chinese-made aircraft.

Fatality Reported in Tragic Crash

As per the AP, military and firefighting authorities confirmed that the Bangladesh Air Force's trainer plane collided with a school premise in Dhaka's northern Uttara area, resulting in at least one fatality and injuries to others. The injured have been promptly admitted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

Simultaneously, the Director of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery mentioned that approximately 30 individuals have been brought from the crash site for hospital admission.

Upon learning of the incident, units from the Bangladesh Army and Fire Service & Civil Defense swiftly mobilized eight teams to the site, initiating rescue operations. An official stated they received notification of the aircraft accident near Milestone College at 1:18 PM, leading to three units on the scene and two additional units on standby by the roadside.
