Across 12 regions in Balochistan, targeted attacks on security personnel, police, and civilian infrastructure led to the tragic deaths of at least 17 security officers and 50 civilians. Yasmin Baloch was born in 1997 and joined the BLA in 2022. Her husband, Waseem Baloch, born in 1992, became a part of the BLA in 2014. They are said to reside in the Alandur area of Buleida.

BLA Previously Released Images of Two Female Suicide Attackers

Previously, the BLA had also released images of two female suicide attackers. Among them, one was identified as 24-year-old Asifa Mengal. Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif acknowledged that female rebels were involved in at least two of these attacks.

According to the BLA's statement, Asifa Mengal joined the BLA's Majid Brigade on her 21st birthday. The organization asserts that she decided to become a suicide bomber in January 2024 and was the attacker targeting the ISI headquarters in Nushki on Saturday.

Shortly after, a BLA female fighter's video went viral on social media. Cautiously advancing near a Pakistani security building, she is seen firing multiple rounds. Heavily armed, this woman mocks the Pakistani government alongside her male companions, claiming the government is failing against the BLA.
