The assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui has stirred significant unrest. He was assassinated on October 12, and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for his death. The entire community, including Bollywood circles, is in mourning, and Salman Khan is devastated by the loss of his dear friend Baba Siddiqui. In light of this, the Navi Mumbai police have heightened security measures to ensure Salman Khan's protection.
Enhanced Security for Salman's Farmhouse
Located in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Salman Khan's farmhouse has become a focal point of increased security measures. The sole road leading to the farmhouse, which traverses a village, is closely monitored. The police have been instructed to report any suspicious activities, while agencies are vigilantly observing incoming information to take timely action if necessary.
Navi Mumbai police have confirmed heightened patrols and the deployment of additional security personnel inside and outside the Panvel farmhouse. Checkpoints have been established at numerous locations for vehicle inspections. Notably, the Bishnoi gang has previously conducted reconnaissance of Khan's property. In January 2024, there was an attempted break-in by two individuals at the farmhouse, though the attack was unsuccessful. However, there was an incident of gunfire at Salman’s Galaxy Apartment in the past.
Gangster Threatens Salman from Behind Bars
Lawrence Bishnoi, currently imprisoned in Gujarat's Sabarmati Jail, continues to threaten Salman and his family. Gunfire incidents have been orchestrated outside his home, the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was carried out, and now Baba Siddiqui’s murder is his doing. Such bold actions by Lawrence have stirred concerns among Salman Khan’s fans about his safety. Recently, while Salim Khan, Salman’s father, was jogging in a park, he received threats from the Bishnoi gang.
On one occasion, a woman wearing a burqa approached Salim Khan on a scooter and asked, “Should I send Lawrence Bishnoi?” This has been a recurring threat to Salman Khan’s family for years. Bishnoi demands an apology from Salman over the blackbuck hunting case, as he believes that in his community, deer are revered and worshipped as deities.
