In the city of Ufa, Russia, Indian students were attacked in the medical university's hostel, resulting in injuries to four Indian students. In response, the AIMSA has addressed a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging for ensured protection and safety of Indian students in Russia.
The All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) expressed deep concern and distress in their letter to PM Modi, stating, 'On behalf of AIMSA, we express deep concern and anguish over the recent violent attack on four Indian medical students at Bashkir State Medical University.'
The letter further emphasizes that such incidents not only endanger the lives and dignity of Indian students but also foster a sense of fear and insecurity among thousands of Indian medical students studying abroad.

AIMSA Demands Justice
AIMSA further appeals, 'We earnestly request the Indian government to engage with relevant authorities immediately, to ensure justice for the attacked students, enhance the security systems, and fortify student support mechanisms for Indian students studying abroad.'

What is the Entire Case?
It is reported that at the State Medical University of Bashkortostan Republic, a 15-year-old boy arrived at the foreign students' hostel (dormitory) wielding a knife. The attacker injured a total of eight people, including four Indian students and two Russian police officers.
