The Rajasthan High Court has granted a 17-day parole to Asaram, who is serving a life sentence in a sexual abuse case. This parole has been given for medical treatment, allotting 15 days for hospital care and 2 days for travel.

As per the information, Asaram will receive treatment at Madhav Bagh Hospital located in Pune, Maharashtra. The double bench of the High Court approved this parole. According to the parole conditions, Asaram must return within the specified timeline for treatment.

17-Day Parole Granted to Asaram

After receiving parole, Asaram will soon be released from jail and proceed to Pune. This is not the first instance where Asaram has been given parole for medical reasons, as he has previously received medical facilities due to his health condition.

In 2018, Asaram was found guilty in a case involving the sexual abuse of a minor. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and is currently lodged in Jodhpur jail. The news of his parole has sparked various discussions.

Treatment at Madhav Bagh Hospital in Pune

It is noteworthy that the double bench of the Rajasthan High Court approved this parole stating that it was sanctioned solely for medical reasons, and it should be adhered to within the specified timeline.
