Asaduddin Owaisi, the national president of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and a Lok Sabha member from Hyderabad, has expressed deep sorrow over the Pahalgam terrorist attack and made a heartfelt appeal to the Muslim community.

Owaisi has urged that during Friday prayers (Namaz-e-Jumma), all Muslims should attend mosques with black armbands to symbolize unity and peace against terrorism.

In his appeal, Owaisi stated, 'This will send a message that we, Indians, will not allow foreign powers to undermine our nation's peace and unity.' He warned that after this attack, malicious forces might attempt to target Kashmiri Muslims, making it vital for everyone to unite and thwart the enemy's plots. I urge all Indians not to fall into the enemy’s trap.

Owaisi's call to avoid divisive provocations serves as a reminder to uphold peace and solidarity.

Owaisi has appealed to all Indians to steer clear of any religious or communal provocations and to maintain an environment of harmony. He emphasized that terrorism holds no religion and that cowardly attacks like these aim to divide the nation.

This appeal from the AIMIM leader comes at a time when the country is in shock over the Pahalgam attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists, raising security concerns in the Kashmir Valley. The attack took place on Tuesday in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, where terrorists targeted individuals based on their religion.
