In a disturbing incident from Meerut, UP, a woman and her lover have been arrested for the calculated murder of her disabled husband. She aimed to claim his job and start a new life with her paramour. Currently, police have detained the accused woman, her lover, and two accomplices, bringing the total arrests to four.

On April 23rd, authorities found a body near Sisola Bamba in the Jani Police Station area of Meerut. They immediately sent the corpse for autopsy. The deceased was identified as Narendra from Surajkund, who was specially-abled and employed as a class IV employee at the Veterinary Hospital in Meerut.
Further investigation revealed CCTV footage of Narendra with three other individuals. Scrutiny led to the discovery of an affair between Narendra's wife Poonam and Dheeraj, a local of TP Nagar, Meerut. This raised suspicions, leading to the couple's detention. Rigorous interrogation shed light on the entire murder plot.
Wife Murders Husband with Lover's Help
According to Meerut Police, Poonam's extramarital involvement with Dheeraj spurred her to mastermind her husband's assassination. Dheeraj, along with his friends Amandeep and Chand, brought Narendra out on the pretext of an outing, intoxicated him, and drowned him on 23rd April.
Interrogations unveiled Poonam's motive: she intended for her husband's demise to result in her inheriting his job, thereby allowing her to comfortably marry her lover and live together.
Meerut's SP Rural, Kamlesh Bahadur, reported that on April 23rd, a body was discovered in the village of Sisola in the Jani area. An autopsy was swiftly conducted. The deceased was affiliated with Meerut's Medical sector and a class IV health department employee. The investigation unearthed a man named Dheeraj who was romantically linked to Narendra's wife. He, along with two others, lured Narendra away from his home under false pretenses and executed the murder.
The murder's primary aim was to secure Narendra's position for his wife posthumously, which would enable her to marry her lover and live with him. At present, the murderous wife, her lover, and the two accomplices have been arrested and are being sent to jail.
