‘When I was Chief Minister…’ PM Modi Praises Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh Rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public gathering during the foundation stone ceremony in Amaravati, described it as a ‘symbol of Andhra Pradesh’s aspirations’ and stated that ‘it is a dream that is set to become a reality’.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Amaravati is not just a city but a ‘power’, a force that will aid in modernizing Andhra Pradesh. He assured that the city will lead in fields like AI, green energy, and industrial development, fulfilling the dreams of many young citizens. PM Modi stated, 'Amaravati is more than a city; it is a force—a force that will make Andhra Pradesh modern.'

'I Learned a Great Deal from Chandrababu Naidu's Work'

PM Modi offered praise to N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister and the head of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), remarking, 'Our Chandrababu Naidu praised my tech-savviness, but I want to share that upon becoming Gujarat’s Chief Minister, I paid close attention to his ways in Hyderabad and learned immensely. Today, I have had the opportunity to implement all that insight.'

Highlighting Naidu’s expertise in handling future technology and large-scale projects, Prime Minister Modi said, 'Whether it's future technology or major projects, Chandrababu Naidu is the most suitable person for the task. Therefore, we need to execute every endeavor in the finest way and in the shortest time possible.'

'NTR’s Dream Must Be Realized'

Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to former Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao (NTR), acknowledging, 'NTR envisioned a prosperous Andhra Pradesh. Together, we must transform Amaravati and Andhra Pradesh into growth engines for a developed India. We must fulfill NTR's dream, shoulder to shoulder with Chandrababu Naidu and brother Pawan Kalyan.'

'A New Chapter is Being Written in Andhra Pradesh'

Reflecting on the country’s progress in the past decade, the Prime Minister highlighted that India now stands among the top global nations in development. He also mentioned ongoing railway and road projects in Andhra Pradesh, stating, 'A new chapter is being written in Andhra Pradesh—a chapter of connectivity among towns, cities, and states.'
