Breaking news emerged of a stone pelting incident on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. During the 'Memantha Siddham' bus tour in Vijayawada, CM Jagan was targeted amidst greeting the crowds, sustaining injuries above his left eyebrow as a result.
Accompanying him was legislator Vellampalli, who also suffered an injury to his left eye. Reddy received immediate medical attention aboard the bus and continued his journey after primary treatment.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Saturday during a roadshow in Singhnagar, Vijayawada. CM Jagan had arrived for the 'Memantha Siddham' bus tour and was accepting people's greetings from the bus. The convoy was near Vivekananda School Center when the stone pelting happened, with one of the stones hitting him above the left brow, causing a cut and bleeding. He was promptly treated on the bus and then resumed greeting the public and continued the tour.
Meanwhile, legislator Vellampalli, who stood beside CM Jagan, was injured during the assault. He too was provided with immediate medical care. The YSRCP leaders accused the TDP of orchestrating this attack.
