Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during election rallies in Bihar on Thursday. He remarked that Rahul Gandhi should feel ashamed for questioning the caste and religion of our soldiers.
Speaking at a rally in Madhubani, Shah stated, “Rahul Gandhi should be ashamed for asking about the caste and religion of our army soldiers. The army does not see caste or religion. Everyone is equal in safeguarding the nation.”
Describing Bihar's Elections as a Campaign for Liberation from Intruders
In the rallies held in Madhubani, West Champaran, and Motihari, Shah warned that illegal Bangladeshi intruders are a security hazard and are depriving people in Bihar and across the country of jobs. He emphasized that these elections are about liberating Bihar from intruders.

Aiming his remarks at the RJD, Shah criticized the crime and violence prevalent during their governance and pointed out the absence of muscle power in the NDA government. Mockingly, he said, “While Prime Minister Narendra Modi established the 'Makhana Board,' if Lalu Prasad and his allies return, they will create a 'Board to Invite Intruders.'”
A Unified Assault on Rahul and Lalu
Shah asserted that the duo of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar is the only safeguard against 'Jungle Raj' in Bihar, whereas Lalu Prasad and Rahul Gandhi aim to pave the way for intruders. He warned that if the so-called 'grand alliance' is given a chance over the 'opportunist coalition,' Champaran will turn into a 'Mini Chambal.' Bihar had once revolted against Indira Gandhi's tyranny and corruption, but now Congress desires to rule the state again with RJD's support.
Promises of a ‘Sita Temple’ and Development
Shah assured that a grand Sita Temple in Sitamarhi will be completed within two and a half years. He promised that with the NDA's return, a new airport will be constructed in Champaran, cooperative societies will revive closed sugar mills, and special schemes will be launched for the Tharu community.
In addition to this, he announced plans to establish a new medical college in Motihari and redevelop the Areraj-based Baba Someshwar Nath Temple with a budget of 100 crore rupees.
