The Osmania University Joint Action Committee (JAC) members staged a protest at film star Allu Arjun's residence on Sunday evening. The demonstrators insisted that Allu Arjun should offer 10 million rupees as aid to the woman’s family, along with providing every form of assistance.
The Actor Was Not Present at Home
The protestors chanted slogans outside his home, pressuring to achieve their demands. Police quickly intervened and detained the JAC leaders. Reports indicate that eight individuals were taken into custody. Allu Arjun was not at his home during this incident. To manage the situation, police increased security and sought to pacify the demonstrators.

A video capturing the protest has surfaced, showing the demonstrators in front of the actor's residence, creating a significant commotion and destroying potted plants outside.
Actor's Plea to Fans
Prior to this incident, Allu Arjun had shared a post urging people not to engage in any misbehavior. Amid increasing disagreements, he appealed for decency in behavior both online and offline, emphasizing respect and positivity and urging followers to avoid unnecessary conflicts.
'Express Your Emotions Responsibly'
Allu wrote, “I appeal to all my fans to express themselves responsibly, as always. Do not resort to disrespectful language or actions, whether online or offline. If individuals with fake IDs impersonate fans and post offensive content, strict action will be taken against them. I'm urging fans not to engage with such posts.” In his caption, he reiterated the call for responsible expression of emotions.
BJP Condemns Attack on Actor's Home
The BJP vehemently condemned the attack on Allu Arjun's home. They fiercely criticized the Congress-led state government in Telangana. Andhra Pradesh BJP Vice President Vishnu Vardhan Reddy stated, “Targeting a distinguished figure like Allu Arjun by the Telangana Congress government is utterly disgraceful. Initiating stone-pelting and harassment against one of South India's biggest taxpayers and a respected figure is not only condemnable but also unacceptable.”
Reddy continued, “These events show the despicable levels the Congress government has fallen to by humiliating successful individuals. Is this the way to treat those who excel in their fields?” The BJP demanded an immediate apology from the state government and appealed for stringent actions against the perpetrators. This incident has further ignited political controversies within Telangana.
