In Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, supporters of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav are pulling out all the stops for a significant rally. Workers from the Jansatta Dal, headed by Raghuraj Pratap Singh a.k.a. Raja Bhaiya, are also lending their strength. Following a recent decision to remain neutral in the Lok Sabha elections, Raja Bhaiya advised his supporters to vote according to their conscience.

However, in recent developments, Jansatta Dal sympathizers are more visibly aligning with SP and coalition candidates instead of BJP. It was evident in Kunda when hundreds of Jansatta Dal workers flocked in support of SP nominee Pushpendra Saroj. Cheers of 'Long live Raja Bhaiya-Akhilesh Yadav' reverberated through the crowd.

Amidst this, Jansatta Dal workers are swiftly making arrangements to ensure Akhilesh Yadav's rally in Pratapgarh is a resounding success. Striving to gather an unprecedented crowd, their goal is to mobilize over five thousand people. This mobilization by Jansatta Dal may be a sign of concern for the BJP, as Raja Bhaiya holds considerable influence in this region. Without his direct support, a potential loss of votes looms large.

Jansatta Dal workers to attend Akhilesh's rally

Notably, after the conclusion of the Kaushambi Lok Sabha elections, Jansatta Dal workers will now direct their efforts towards the Pratapgarh constituency. On May 23rd, at the GIC Grounds in Pratapgarh, SP national president Akhilesh Yadav will address a public gathering. Akhilesh will garner support for SP candidate SP Singh Patel. Jansatta Dal's leaders and cadres are all geared up to back Akhilesh, rallying nearly five to seven thousand workers to attend the meeting.

As political discourse heats up in Pratapgarh, Raja Bhaiya remains publicly silent and has not officially directed his party workers to participate in the SP rally. Nonetheless, his prior decision to leave the voting decision to his followers' discretion indicates his workers' preparations for Akhilesh Yadav's event are well underway, as slogans of 'Democracy and Socialism' echo throughout the locale.
