During this time, the airline temporarily reduced the number of flights to address operational challenges, including additional pre-flight checks and airspace restrictions.

Air India stated, "Passenger safety is our utmost priority." The airline assured that this approach ensures thoroughly reviewed and secure service provision.

During this period, under DGCA supervision, a detailed inspection of the Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 fleets was conducted, with no defects found. The fuel control switch mechanism of Boeing 737 and 787-8 aircraft was also examined, revealing no issues.

Air India said, "Following the AI171 incident in June, we took several proactive measures and conducted comprehensive inspections to ensure every flight meets global safety and service standards." The airline added that trained engineers and pilots meticulously inspect each flight, and all maintenance work is performed at certified facilities.
