Wondering when you might breathe your last? When your heart might stop? With just a few minutes, you can find out. A revolutionary study published in
introduces the AI Death Calculator. Using artificial intelligence, it estimates your time of death or potential risks, providing valuable insights.
The National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom is poised to trial this groundbreaking calculator in two hospitals. Officially termed the AI-ECG Risk Estimator (AIRE), this tool forecasts heart failure, pinpointing when your heart might cease pumping blood.

AI Revealing What Doctors Might Miss
This test swiftly evaluates your heart's electrical activity and uncovers potential hidden health issues that doctors might overlook. Post-trial, individuals might know with 78% accuracy if they’ll pass away within the next decade.
Tech to be Widely Used in Five Years
The technology can also forecast future grave illnesses that increase mortality chances, even those currently undetectable. Trials commence at two London hospitals next year, with experts predicting nationwide adoption within five years.
Working of the AI Death Calculator
The study details that the development team trained the calculator using ECG reports from 189,539 patients, encompassing 1.16 million ECG data points. Heart rate irregularities were detected in 76% of cases, heightening future risks of heart attacks or diseases. Every 7 out of 10 patients faced issues such as narrow arteries or blood flow challenges.
