Owaisi intends to field his candidates and has announced a ticket for Tahir Hussain, accused of a murder during the Delhi riots. When questioned about this decision, Owaisi maintained that Hussain is only an accused but not yet proven guilty.

Addressing questions about granting Tahir Hussain a candidacy, Owaisi explained that media trials are not synonymous with judicial decisions. The matter is under the court's purview, and they will decide. Owaisi mentioned similar cases where 40-45% of MPs with criminal charges still win elections, questioning the double standards applied.

Owaisi pointed out that Delhi's former CM Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia faced jail time but secured bail. Are they spotless? Meanwhile, Tahir Hussain has been in jail for five years without getting bail. Why is that?
