In light of the Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal summoning party legislators and ministers from Punjab, Pratap Singh Bajwa, Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, unequivocally stated on Monday that the Aam Aadmi Party is laying the groundwork to remove Bhagwant Mann from the Chief Minister post in Punjab.
Bajwa said, ''Following AAP's recent humiliating defeat in Delhi, it appears the party is in defensive mode in Punjab. The 'broom party' has foreseen its disastrous future in the border state. The top leadership of AAP has begun measures to safeguard its government in Punjab and is perhaps preparing for the next assembly elections.

Is Bhagwant Mann's CM post at stake?
Senior Congress leader Bajwa stated that under Bhagwant Mann's inefficient leadership, the AAP government in Punjab has failed miserably to fulfill its promises, including giving Rs 1,000 per month to women, raising Rs 20,000 crore annually from mining, improving law and order, and eradicating the drug menace and corruption. Thus, his Chief Minister position is already at risk.
Punjab Cabinet's last meeting was on October 5
Criticizing the AAP government for postponing cabinet meetings, Bajwa highlighted that the last meeting of the Punjab Cabinet was held on October 5. The apathetic attitude of the AAP government towards Punjab-related issues is evident from its failure to convene a cabinet meeting for the past four months.

Bajwa remarked, 'Punjab stands on the brink of insolvency. Additionally, issues such as the drug menace and law and order loom large in the state. Yet, the Chief Minister of Punjab is occupied with trivial matters like visits to Australia and party meetings in Delhi.
